A new Boat

The Boat This boat caught my eye at the Fred Hall show in 2007. It seemed to have a key trait that I need in a boat; fit in my driveway.  The Bayrunner was, and still is, a great boat, but priorities have changed a bit with the growing family and my own personal age.

Chance Encounter with my Knee Doctor

Dr. Behr is a man I truly appreciate, but he is not one I want to see on my own accord.  You see, when it is time to visit him, it means something is bad with my knee.  This time it was a pleasant surprise.

Hooked a Marlin

I headed out for a “southern” themed trip with a couple of friends out of the true South.  The goal was to go look for some more of the tuna on the offshore banks.  Catching any fish would have been a success for us…

Knee Update: Feeling solid on the bike again

It has been roughly 20 months since my surgery.  At around 14 months I really started to feel good.  Now, 6 months later, I feel like I am back to pre-surgery abilities. >> Read Full Article

36″ And a Birthday in a Retirement Home

Last weekend we had a small family reunion of sorts for my side of the family.  The girls saw their cousin for the first time in way too long and had a lot of fun.  As a reminder that I am not getting any younger (no I don’t forget very often), mom had a birthday celebration for me Saturday night.  In my grandmothers retirement home.
